Shuttles are a safe and rapid transportation method for Colonists and infrastructure items between distant Domes and can also deliver resources reliably wherever needed - distance being irrelevant. When not in use, they are stationed at Shuttle Hubs, where they are maintained and refueled.
Shuttles are optimized to traverse the low-density and low-pressure atmosphere of Mars. Their groundbreaking drives can take off vertically from anywhere, without the need of a runway or a landing platform of any sort.

Shuttles can be used to transport resources and colonists around the entire map. They consume fuel to work and with upgrades can hold up to 6 resources or colonists. When built a shuttle hub has 3 shuttles and 3 more can be made from electronics and polymers. Shuttle hubs can also be used underground after the Under Ground Flight School tech is researched.
